In the cell of a South American prison, a political prisoner befriends a homosexual man who is enthusiastic about the pompously kitschy dream world of a propaganda film. In a very small space, their developing friendship gives hope and the strength to love to one of them, and lets the other preserve his dignity. The film is a sensitively directed and excellently played psychological study that deals with the longings of man and the right to dreams, respect and individuality.
