Disaster movies and their enduring appeal are the focus of the upcoming exhibition CATASTROPHE. What comes after the end?, which will be on show at the DFF from July 14, 2021 to January 9, 2022.
A comprehensive exhibition of Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 masterpiece, which revolutionized the art of science fiction filmmaking and whose visual language continues to fascinate to this day.
The exhibition pays tribute to the work of the grande dame of European costume design, responsible for the costumes of The Marriage of Maria Braun, Homo Faber, The Buddenbrooks and House of the Spirits, among others.
The Stanley Kubrick exhibition was curated by the DFF together with the Deutsches Architekturmuseum in 2003 and has been touring worldwide since.
