The special exhibition explores the use of music, sound, and dialogue in the animated films created by Walt Disney during his lifetime.
From December 2019, the exhibition presents the artistic legacy of the world star and, by combining scenic and multimedia elements, allows visitors to immerse themselves in his work and creative process.
On the occasion of his 90th birthday, we are dedicating a close-up to Mario Adorf in the form of a foyer exhibition. The exhibition is dedicated to the topics of mimic, gesture and voice. Film stills, set photographs, a sound and a film compilation give an impression of the acting skills of one of the most important contemporary German actors.
The interdisciplinary exhibition "Digital Revolution" illustrates the transformation of the arts, especially film, through digital technologies since the 1970s. It explores the influence of the digital on our way of telling stories, on image design and on the democratization of production processes.
