The school film festival BritFilms presents a diverse selection of English-language films in their original version with German subtitles. The program offers a wide range of mostly recent productions, for example from England, Ireland, and the USA. The school screenings are not only aimed at students in middle and upper school of various school types but also at language beginners from the age of six. The original versions provide a deeper insight into English-language cinema culture and offer students the opportunity to test and improve their language comprehension. Teaching materials are also provided for the films.
