Petrunya is 31 years old, lives with her parents and has no job prospects. After an unsuccessful interview, she lets her frustration run wild. As she passes by a procession throwing a blessed cross into the water, she forestalls the group of young men participating in the annual event and pulls it out. The deed becomes a scandal that encompasses all areas of Macedonian society from the church to the judiciary to the media, and which the director stages as an angry, melancholic satire.
