Danièle Huillet and Jean-Marie Straub filmed VON HEUTE AUF MORGEN at the Hessischer Rundfunk studio in Frankfurt, based on a one-act opera by Arnold Schönberg and a libretto by Max Blonda, Gertrud Schönberg’s pseudonym. Their exploration of Schönberg is a central theme of the anthology Tell It to the Stones: Encounters with the Work of Danièle Huillet and Jean-Marie Straub, published in 2021.
