As a preview, the DFF will be showing the documentary film MEINEN FREUNDEN ZUM ABSCHIE about the short life of the Frankfurt publisher’s son Ernst Ludwig Oswalt, called ‘Lux’: I don’t know what lies ahead of me, perhaps that’s a good thing, he wrote in his farewell letter before he was deported to the extermination camp of Majdanek or Sobibor on 11 June 1942.
Matinee on the occasion of the commemoration day of the city of Frankfurt am Main of the first mass deportation to the ghetto Łódź on 19 October 1941.
