GLOBAL FAMILY
The Shaash family live dispersed all over the world. The civil war in Somalia has forced them to do so. Suddenly the eldest, Imra (88), has to leave her exile in Ethiopia. The family has to find a solution quickly. But where should she go? Based on these questions, a transnational family drama unfolds in which the family tries everything to find a new home for Imra. GLOBAL FAMILY offers a glimpse into the future fate of many people who have to leave their homeland.
