TIĀN ZHÙDÌNG A Touch of Sin
Four people, four stories, one destiny. In A TOUCH OF SIN it is mainly individual objects that hold the strongest emotions. The lecture examines Jia’s brutal portrait of modern China, which tells of the attempt to reconnect lost ties in a world of destruction and disappearance. Cannes Winner 2013 (Best Screenplay).
Winnie Yee is Assistant Professor in Comparative Literature at the University of Hong Kong.
