At the opening of the exhibition LIGHT PLAYGROUND on Sunday, 10. December, from 2 to 5 pm, the DFF will be welcoming all children and their adult companions with free admission.
An exhibition to participate in: The LIGHT PLAYGROUND transforms the DFF into a cinema, an experimental space and an experience for children. Children, their families, educators and teachers will be able to use their imagination, be creative and discover the magic of film. The Film Playground is designed for children aged three to eight, but younger and older children are also welcome. The exhibition can be visited by groups (school classes, nurseries, etc.) as well as by families and individuals with children.
In keeping with the exhibition’s theme, the opening on Sunday 10 December at 2 p.m. will focus on the youngest target group: the DFF will be hosting a big family party with snacks and drinks for young and old, an activity programme and, of course, an extensive exploration of the LICHTSPIELPLATZ exhibition on the 3rd floor of the DFF. Here, children can play with light and shadow, learn about the magic of projection, experiment with sound, colour and perspective, and discover the world of film in a small cinema.
