How truthful can a documentary be? Who was the first woman to direct an animated film in Germany? What is it about Westerns “Made in Germany”? What do silent movies and comic books share? And what does cinema have to do with chocolate?
With the interactive platform FILMWISSEN ONLINE, seven German film institutions offer young users in particular an interactive and playful introduction to film history and film language, coupled with many interesting facts about film and cinema. The cooperation of the institutions and the project FILMWISSEN ONLINE originated from the AG Filmbildung in the Kinematheksverbund.
