DER NEBELMÖRDER is a completely unjustly forgotten movie gem from Germany, which with its extremely atmospheric mix of dark horror and classic crime film should appeal to friends of Edgar Wallace in particular. But horror fans will also get their money’s worth, as DER NEBELMÖRDER almost anticipates the Italian giallo with its focus on a rebellious teenage clique and its masked serial killer. A secret tip of genre cinema for all those for whom a real thriller has to ential the smell of cigarette smoke and a floppy hat.
